Head of Interface

·      Identify, develop, coordinate, expedite and steward closure of EPC Contract Interfaces with other External parties (Kahramaa, RLIC, QP, NFE EPC’s, MoECC).
·      Provides overall guidance and leadership with respect to the Commercial and Physical interfaces applicable to NFS EPC Contract in close coordination with the Project & Interface Manager.
·      Interfaces with different contracting parties, owners, customers, government bodies and existing facilities.
·      Propose and recommend appropriate solution as necessary to maintain compliance with local authority requirements.
·      Ensure critical interfaces are identified and acknowledged by all stake holders.
·      Lead all NFS Onshore Project External Interfaces with other External stakeholders, such as but not limited to RLIC, QP, Kahramaa, MME, to secure alignment and expedite approvals as required to meet Project objectives.
·      Work within Qatargas groups (Operations, Terminals and Refining groups, Engineering and Projects, Commercial, Execution Planning and Services (EP&S), Sub-surface, etc.) to facilitate and coordinate NFS EPC Contract Interface related activities.
·      Represent the interests of the EPC Contract by attending to all important meetings, including ensuring comprehensive and fully documented actions list and minutes of meeting are prepared and signed by the Parties involved.
·      Serve as the single point of contact regarding interface management plans, processes, agreements, and progress updates.
 

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or higher diploma with proven project management and execution experience including brownfield execution.


  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferably in LNG industry with a minimum of 5 years in a management position.
  • Proven experience as Discipline Engineer, Project Engineer, Interface Engineer, and Interface Head.
  • Experienced in developing and leading effective project interface organizations.
  • Previous work experience with Qatargas Operations and / or QE is an advantage.
  • Previous work experience in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) is an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills. Able to write technical reports in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Valid Qatari Driving License (or eligible to apply)
