The Opportunity:
NES Fircroft are partnering with a global miner with significant operations across WA to join their refinery operations in a Safety Consultant role for an initial 6-12 month contract. Opportunity for long term extensions and/or permanency beyond the first 12 months.
This is a Monday - Friday Perth based role, 40 hour work week.

The Role:
The Health & Safety Consultant is responsible for providing broad advise across critical H&S areas and risks to operational management. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Provides ongoing H&S advice, coaching and leadership to front line teams in refinery operations.
- Reviewing and monitoring safety performance against internal metrics and identifying strategies for improvement.
- Maintaining company standards and legislative compliance requirements.
- Provide expert support and assistance to line management during safety incidents and investigations.
The Requirements:
- Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous exposure or experience in mining or other heavy industries.
- Ideally immediately available or available on short-notice
- Perth-based role, be home every night with no FIFO site travel requirements.
