  • Planning and monitoring module and heavy equipments transport routing, crane pads/ laydown and equipment dressing areas.
  • Monitor and control the daily / weekly tasks of the heavy haul and heavy lift teams Liaise with third party heavy haul/ heavy lift contractor and FGP heavy lift/heavy haul and engineering team.
  • The management of lift planning and execution either with the General Contractors (GCs) or with a sub-contracted heavy lift contractor
  • Ensuring that contractual arrangements for major lifts meet the needs of the project and that suitable terms and conditions are in place.
  • Ensuring that lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements for the work are reviewed and approved to ensure compliance with the relevant International, KSA and AP specifications and requirements.  Ensuring that such reviews are performed by suitably qualified personnel.
  • Where necessary acting as the Authorised person in controlling the lift.
  • Ensuring that all minor lifting, rigging and slings operations have suitable risk assessments and method statements.
  • Ensuring that all lifts are reviewed, approved and controlled by appropriately qualified personnel and that these personnel are identified in an appropriate way as responsible.
  • Provide technical advice on matters pertaining to primarily heavy transport and rigging/lifting operations , management of change, deviations and / or non-compliances.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture. Provide oversight of the day-to-day heavy haul and assist with heavy lift activities performed by the Projects nominated Heavy Haul/ Heavy Lift contractor.
  • Monitor Contractors/Subcontractors’ transportation and lifting method statements to assure compliance with Project requirements.
  • Correct and appropriate implementation of technical principles, practices, and methods for lifting and transport operations.
  • Compliance with daily & weekly reporting programs and schedules. Plan and perform work in accordance with project scheduling.
