NES Fircroft are working alongside a WA owned company seeking a HR Remuneration & Benefits Specialist to join their team.
Job Title: Remuneration & Benefits Specialist
Location: Leederville
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Contract: Initial 3 - 6 month contract (After probation this role will turn permanent)
Pay Rate: (Approx $70 per hour negotiable)

Job Title: Remuneration & Benefits Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice and day-to-day management of the organisation’s remuneration and benefits policy and frameworks.
- Manage the research and data collection to assist in the development of the Corporations remuneration strategy.
- Support with the implementation and compliance with the organisation’s overall remuneration strategy.
- Provide support in the execution of the annual salary review processes
- Conduct reviews of the Corporations remuneration policies and procedures
- Manage and conduct periodic and timely reviews of salaries to recommend remuneration outcomes and strategies to ensure the continued attraction and retention of critical skills and talent in labour market.
- Own and manage key relationships to liaise with external stakeholders on remuneration review matters, including the Salaries and Allowances.
- Manage and participate in the Classification panel providing recommendations that promote fairness and parity on an overall perspective, particularly on an internal basis.
- Assist with the review and development of the Corporation’s classification procedure to ensure effective streamlined, benchmarked and consistent outcomes occur across the Corporation
- Support with the implementation of the organisation’s short-term incentive plans for Leaders & Managers.
- Support with the annual implementation of the organisation’s reward programs.
- Manage and analyse costs and competitive trends in remuneration and benefits programs
- Develop and maintain administrative procedures to monitor and reduce costs and improve delivery of remuneration and benefits programs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform recommendations on overall employee remuneration and benefits
- Conduct market benchmarking of individual roles to recommend competitive market rates for individual offers of employment.
- Lead the organisation’s participation in salary surveys (e.g. Korn Ferry, Mercer, NRG).
- Maintain and manage organisation’s market data subscription services.
- Act as subject matter expert for the whole Corporation on market analysis and benchmarking remuneration data.
- Manage day-to-day management of employee benefits programs, including salary packaging, novated leases and employee discount programs.
- Own and maintain relationships with providers of benefits programs, ensuring ongoing relevance, competitiveness and compliance to existing policy.
- Manage promotion of employee benefits to employees across the Corporation, acting as subject matter expert and sole point-of-contact for employees queries about benefits.
- Advise internal stakeholders of the organisation’s employee value proposition specific to individual employees’ circumstances.
- Undertake and manage remuneration projects/initiatives to lead to business improvement as required.
Essential Experience:
- Degree level qualification in a relevant Business, Statistics, Finance or Human Resources
- Considerable experience of remuneration and benefits practices in a large, complex and diverse organisation
- Relevant knowledge of total reward management and practical experience of implementation.
- Relevant Project management experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all organisational levels
- Considerable skills using MS Excel, Visual Basic, Power BI, SAP, SuccessFactors, and other data-analysis systems
- Strong planning and organising skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including documenting work policy/process/guidelines.
- Ability to build effective relationship and influence outcomes
- Ability to handle confidential & sensitive information with discretion
Desirable Skills:
- Experience conducting salary reviews using Success Factors compensation module
- Considerable experience with Hays Job Classification methodology or similar methodologies
- Experience in a GTE and/or with implementing salary reviews in an EA environment
