NES Fircroft are working with an National EPCM located in Perth CBD seeking a HR Officer to join their project team.
Job Title: HR Officer
Location: Perth CBD
Length of Contract: Initially 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hour days
Start Date: ASAP
Experience: 5 + years within Recruitment or HR related fields
Size of HR Team: 2
Systems Experience Preferred: Oracle

Job Title: HR Officer

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with strategic HR projects rather than your typical HR Business Partner role.
- Reporting to the Group Manager People & Capability, supporting leaders across all areas of HR, including ER, performance management, organisational culture, remuneration and benefits.
- Support Australia West growth initiatives, working collaboratively with the broader People & Capability team to achieve business goals.
- Regularly consulting with business stakeholders to identify short- and long-term HR support needs and targeted initiatives, leading execution work.
- Advise managers and employees on issues related to domestic and international secondments and relocations, flexible work arrangements, higher duty assignments etc.
- Assist the project team, develop and execute HR projects for business-wide initiatives.
Experience Required:
- An experienced HR Officer with a breadth of generalist & Recruitment experience including both strategic and operational HR, ideally gained in engineering or construction industries.
- Success working collaboratively with senior leadership to support strategic business goals.
- Communicating and connecting easily with people, building and maintaining long-term relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- An inquisitive approach, seeking to understand key stakeholders within and across geographically dispersed teams, influencing where needed.
- Exposure to acquisition integration, business growth activities and/or change management projects would be a plus.
- Ideally a Bachelor level degree or above within HR or 5 + years relevant experience.
