Our client, a leading Oil and Gas Operator, are currently seeking a HSE Advisor for an initial 12-month contract with potential to extend. This will be a Perth based role with occasional travel to site required.
This position is responsible for the development/maintenance and implementation of oil spill management, procedures, plans, exercises, and competencies and support to broader ABU emergency management initiatives and activities.

This position is responsible for the development/maintenance and implementation of oil spill management, procedures, plans, exercises, and competencies and support to broader ABU emergency management initiatives and activities.
This role scope includes:
- Responsible for the coordination of the ABU oil spill response capability including equipment preparedness and maintenance, training, and response exercise management.
- Driving efficiencies and standardization in oil spill response commitments and response arrangements
- Support the ABU emergency management advisor across all elements of ABU emergency response management, crisis management and business continuity planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in a HSE Related discipline or related environmental engineering discipline.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in HSE management, preferably within the Oil and Gas industries though other resource sectors would be considered.
