NES Fircroft is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the oil & gas Industry.

Our client is seeking an HSE Contract Analyst for a 12-month contract in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities:

• Support contractor HSE Evaluations and RFPs/Tenders
• Manage evaluation templates
• Manage schedule and Track status of evaluations/RFPs
• Manage follow-up with contractors to close HSE gaps
• Support process continuous improvement, include procedure development
• Review ISN information and translate to evaluation matrices
• Support the maintenance of the Canadian ISN account
• Monitor the status of contractor HSE qualifications and follow-up
• Regularly generate HSE reports
• Coordinate with field-based HSE personnel
• Support all execution groups and disciplines with contractor management
• Act as designate, when required, to Senior Analysts and Coordinators

Qualifications:

• In depth knowledge of client account setup and functionality within ISNetworld
• Formal education and training in the HSE field is preferred and a definite asset
• NCSO or higher qualification is preferred but not required
• Understanding of risk assessments and registers
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of WCB
• Understanding of provincial and federal transportation regime (e.g., commercial vehicles, carriers)
• Intermediate knowledge of traditional safety metrics and calculations (e.g., TRIF, LTI, VIR, leading indicators)
• Intermediate knowledge of the oil and gas upstream industry and activities
• Experience with contracts containing safety elements
• Intermediate knowledge of AB OHS Act, Code, Regulations, interpretation and application thereof
