We have more than a dozen ongoing projects, from concept studies to large EPC, and are tackling our biggest challenge yet: delivering the ground-breaking carbon capture plant at the Norcem cement factory in Brevik, Norway. This will be the world's first CO2-capture facility at a cement plant.

The Role
As an HSE Inspector/ Coordinator you will:
- Ensure SHA-coordination for work at Site by taking part in daily SHA-Coordination meetings, and be a guide in a safe work environment out on the Construction Site
- Attend Company weekly SHA and ensure SHA coordination is performed
- Be regularly out on Site to take part in the activities on Site such HSSE inspections on construction site, audits, Safety walks and be a visible part of the HSSE team on the Site and on Prefab Sites
- Enhance and encourage Safety moral out on Site by doing BBS with the workers and perform Tool-Box talks
- Adhere to and comply with all Norcem's & Brevik CCS EPC Project’s contractual requirements with special focus on the HSSE requirements and expectations
- Perform HSSE activities for construction including HSSE plan, SHA coordination and risk assessments
- Be aware of Rest-Risk Register in Interaxo, and give notice of changes as changes appears
- Be proactive and take an active role in risk assessments and follow up / take action on risk reducing activities
- Follow-up of Subcontracts HSSE requirements (HSE plan, SHA plan, etc.)
- Support Subcontractors HSE-management
- Provide active notifications of potential changes to scope of work regarding HSE issues
You have:
- A technical background. Relevant work experience may compensate educational requirements
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in this field
- Good knowledge and competence within the Construction area
- Understanding of the construction site works and QHSSE rules
- SHA-Coordination skills
- Previous operational experience within HSSE work at site
- Fluent in written and spoken English
