HSEQ Advisor- Tier 3 Commercial Construction - Melbourne VIC
NES Fircroft is currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor for our client based in Melbourne's south-east. This builder is a leader in their field and has enjoyed sustained success for many decades, which has allowed them to establish a subsidiary company which specialises in unique and technically challenging projects.

- $110-140k plus super
- 5+ years' experience managing safety in commercial or civil construction
- Family-oriented business with a strong emphasis on healthy work/life balance
Responsibilities
- Providing OH&S support and advice to project teams
- Monitoring/reviewing policies, SOP's, SWMS, risk assessments
- Monitoring/improving training and induction for new employees
- Liaising with site management, trades and clients to maintain OH&S practices
- Regular site visits to influence and audit OH&S practices with clients and employees
- Undertake incident investigations and reporting
- Establishing preventative measures following incident investigations
- Ensuring documentation and record keeping is compliant for all OH&S matters
- Strong knowledge in OH&S policies and a solid understanding of ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001)
- Relationships-orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with technology and standard industry programs/software
- Diploma in Health & Safety (or higher), and White Card
- 5+ years OH&S experience in high-risk industry (commercial/civil construction preferred)
- Full Victorian drivers' license
- Competitive salary package ($110-140k plus super; commensurate with experience)
