Title: Hydrodynamics Engineer
Duration: Duration at least 1 year (might be renewed)
Location: Monaco 
  • Looking for 5 profiles to be based in Monaco to work on calculation to feed the other disciplines (design...) 
  • Ideal target are engineers with 3-5 years of experience (we are also open for juniors profiles)
  • Must have knowledge of the 3 following tools : Orcaflex/Ariane/Hydrostar
  • English is a must (at least written)
Main missions:
(Ex: Ensure, Provide, Coordinate, Supervise, Maintain, Analyse, Liaise with, Check, Promote, Monitor …)
Deliver anchoring systems design (FPSOs, mooring systems, CALM buoys, Windfloaters notably) on projects/tenders through hydrodynamics analyses
Perform package engineering activities on projects for anchoring items
 Calculate floaters motions/accelerations, waves bending moment, slamming and greenwater loads, design bilge keels on projects/tenders
Interface with other engineering disciplines and divisions (Supply Chain, Proposals, PMT) to ensure smooth project/tender execution
- Model tests supervision (see keeping, wind tunnel tests, station keeping), including calibration of results
  Job requirements

Msc in Offshore Hydrodynamics, or specialized engineering school such as:
Centrale Nantes
* Ensta Bretagne
* Seatech
* Centrale Marseille
Junior / Mid/ Senior profiles
Specific skills / expertise / product:
Knowledgeable on Hydrodynamics numerical analyses tools: Orcaflex, Ariane, Hydrostar
Experience on Hydrodynamics calculations (derivation of Hydrodynamics database, motions and accelerations calculations, wave bending moments calculations, bilge keels design) for offshore floaters is a plus
Fluent English
