NES Fircroft is currently looking to recruit a Industrial Relations Specialist on behalf of their petrochemical client.
This is a remote role with travel involved working 3 days per week.
The Industrial Relations Specialist will be required to put a training programme together in managing Industrial Relations to role out to Site Managers.
This will initially be a 3 month contract with a view to extend.

Candidates must have experience in the following;
- Managing relationships with unions & ensuring that the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
- Experience of lead the strategic relationship between companies, the client and the trade unions on all matters relating to employee / industrial relations.
- Developing IR Strategies to mitigate business risk.
- Collating and analysing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
- Coaching and Mentoring of Regional HR Business Partners to support solutions driven outcomes.
- Prior experience in employee relations or industrial relations
- Strong experience in dealing with unions.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills.
- Ability to build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
- A construction or project management background.
