Instrument EngineerDevelopment of P&ID’s
Preparation of instrument and control engineering design and specification documents as required by the project, to include: -
  • Completion of instrument data sheets and process data sheets
  • Specification and selection of control and field instrumentation
  • Preparation of wiring and control loop drawings
  • Instrument Hook up drawings
  • Termination and junction box schedules
  • Preparation of schedules for cables and glands, materials and labels
  • Preparation of cable routing and equipment location drawings
  • Preparation of a construction scope of work
Carry out and/or supervise site surveys on client sites   
Responsible for instrumentation CAD drawing checks and overall presentation and layout.
Responsible for checking calculations, specifications and drawings prepared by others
Authorising and issue of drawing packages and/or electronic files
