NES Fircroft are proud to partner with a huge oil and gas operator in their search for an Instrument Design Engineer to work in their London office. This will be an office based position with no remote working.

ACTIVITIES • To ensure that all necessary safety studies, reports and audits are undertaken and, where applicable, theirrecommendations implemented.• To review all safety-related documents, such as safety calculation notes, plot plans/layouts, safety logic control• and all safety-related specifications for construction/operation/maintenance• To participate to all safety reviews, e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, etc., to ensure that the methodology and proceduresfor these studies are produced and approved prior to their commencement.• To monitor close-out of all safety-related action items from the various safety reviews• To participate in technical meetings as appropriate.• To participate in technical meetings as appropriate.• To liaise and regularly communicate with the H3SE Department• To provide support concerning technical safety issues• To liaise and regularly communicate with his discipline manager QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Education: Engineering degree or equivalent Experience: >10 years in same or equivalent position Advanced expertise is required:• In Electrical in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields.• In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering, etc)• International Electrical codes• in Electrical software & Piping vibration assessment (like ETAP, etc)
