Aker Solutions in Oslo are now looking for Instrument Engineers to strengthen their team.

 

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Review and comment on PFD/P&ID for any control/interlock/safety-related representations
  • Take responsibility for the preparation of instrument documents including specifications, data sheets, bid evaluations and package management for various instruments like control valves, level instruments, pressure metering packages etc.
  • Co-ordinate with other disciplines for package procurement and management activities
  • Review deliverables prepared by designers like wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, hook-ups, cable specifications etc.
  • Drawing and Document Reviews
 

Required skills and experience:

  • BSc/MSc within instrumentation engineering or other relevant study
  • At least 5 years’ work experience as an instrument/ation engineer within relevant industries like oil & gas/energy, marine etc.
  • FEED experience from offshore projects and as a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for field instruments
  • Documented EPC/EPma project experience
  • Pro-active team-player who is solution-orientated and technically interested
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
 

NES Advantage can offer 2-year contracts with excellent prospects for extension. Work permits required for non-EU citizens hired by NES Advantage will be arranged and paid for.
