Description:

**6 month contract with possible extension**

  • Seeking I&C Engineer or Experienced Instrument Specialist
  • Assist Instrument Techs with technical troubleshooting issues, perform / coordinate MOC's including: scope evaluations, PM reviews, Turn Around assistance
 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of process, instrumentation and control systems
  • Responsible for designs that provide the most reliable and cost-effective instrument and control systems
  • Support process designers and developing processed design specifications, developing operating and training manuals
  • Write purchase and construction specifications and write and perform Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Perform audits of instrumentation installations, and process control loops
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Degree in Electrical Engineering degree, Mechanical Engineering, or similar)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant instrument experience
  • Direct experience in a refinery, chemical and/or manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the distributed control systems, such as Honeywell, DCS hardware
  • Demonstrative knowledge of PLCs
  • Proficient in MS Office, word, excel, outlook, projects
