We are currently recruiting an experienced Instrumentation Engineer for our valued client Chevron, on an initial 12-month contract with potential to go beyond this.

The successful candidate will provide deep technical support for all integrity critical I&C equipment and production critical instrumentation on the Gorgon and/or Wheatstone LNG facilities.

This position will work on turnaround planning and execution by identifying, raising, and assessing instrument Turnaround scope via work prioritization processes and supporting field execution teams. The role also focuses on identifying instrument reliability/availability/utilization improvement opportunities, developing business cases to secure funding and driving implementation.

Top 3 Must have skills:
Degree qualified in any of these engineering disciplines: Instrument, Electrical, Controls
•Experience in Complex Process Facilities providing operational technical support, brownfield projects and / or maintenance support.
•Technical, operations or maintenance experience with instrumentation and valves and safety instrumented systems.

•Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results.
•Creative thinking and a proactive mindset are required to facilitate solutions in the field.

•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to work with facility groups and cross functional teams.
•Proven ability to communicate technical ideas to a wide range of groups within the facility.

What type of candidate we are looking for?
•Instrument Engineer with 10 to 15 year experience, preferably with experience supporting maintenance/operations.
