NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major oil and gas operator who are looking for a EPCI Interface Engineer to work on one of their key projects in Paris. The position will be on a 1 year renewable contract. The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an attractive rate.

Activities
The EPCI Interface Lead will:
  • Follow all interfaces towards Upstream with different CTRs and within CPY teams through Prodom system
  • Transfer of interfaces currently considered “internal” between TFMC and MTV to external interfaces with new T&I Contractors.
  • Transfer and/or generation of interfaces generated from the splitting of EPCI scope into separate contracts for engineering, shallow water, and deep-water scopes of work.
  • Support handover and receipt of goods, materials, and engineering deliverables currently held by EPCI Contractor to new T&I contractors.
  • Support handover and receipt of EPCI scope information.
  • Support CPI Technical Manager in terms of technical impacts of MTV termination over other packages including other CPI contractors as well as with other departments within Company (drilling, operations, etc.)
  • Follow and assess with the team potential changes that will result in this handover (involvement in term of Management of Change process)
  • Develop and review as needed dedicated procedures for interfaces, change of management, handover.
  • Other duties as required

Accountabilities
The Interface engineer shall be accountable for:
  • Review, assess and follow all EPCI scope interfaces
  • Identification and development of revised interfaces for the EPCI scope.
  • Support during handover process between previous EPCI Contractor and Company.
  • Review of technical impacts of transfer between previous EPCI Contractor to new T&I Contractors
  • on all other packages with Contractors and within Company.

Qualifications/Experience required
The EPCI Interface Engineer shall be familiar with all aspects of offshore and subsea projects, with respect to traditional interface definition and responsibilities:
  • Ability to get along well with others and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and work as part of small and flexible team.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • BOSIET and OGUK medical
  • Experienced in the engineering, management and delivery of offshore and subsea projects, particularly projects with subsea pipeline and subsea equipment components (integrated EPCI). Past experience in deep water and subsea to shore projects is needed.
  • Familiar with equipment delivery, past project experience in Africa or other remote or isolated jurisdictions would be an advantage.
  • Experience in the associated key interface challenges linked to engineering, subsea equipment installation and pre-commissioning (trees, manifolds, subsea control systems etc.)
  • Able to act as a problem solver with the ability to achieve outcomes where various stakeholders are involved.
