PURPOSE:
  • Implement activities aligned with the reliability improvement program
  • Ensure up-to-date and fit-for-purpose Maintenance Strategies being documented in the system, and active for implementation on-site
THE ROLE:
Execute reliability improvement program
  • Conduct reliability analysis thru CMMS data and coordination with relevant discipline engineers
  • Execute PM improvement and other recommendations in alignment with business objectives
Responsible for ensuring maintenance strategies recorded and implemented in the CMMS are aligned with the documented equipment care plans and asset care plan in the Business Management System
  • Support Reliability Engineer in updating and developing documented maintenance strategies and other MEC documents
Ensure details of existing maintenance strategies in the CMMS are complete for effective execution e.g. Task Lists, Checklists and Assurance Standard references, Resource requirement (manpower, materials, manhours)
  • Receive and address any reported gaps on the maintenance strategy setup in CMMS
  • Conduct analysis of historical maintenance work done as input to PM strategy update
  • Support Reliability Engineer and coordinate with supply chain in the upkeep of critical spares
Ensure improvement cycle of reviewing and updating the equipment care plans, and asset care/maintenance reference plans are adhered to and completed as per defined interval
  • Upkeep of the PM Library thru conducting PM Optimization Review sessions and workshops
  • Conduct Asset Care Plan workshop and review
Act as member or lead in incident investigations, applying 5-why/Root Cause Analysis techniques

THE INDIVIDUAL:
  • Mechanical Engineering, Instrument Engineering or similar engineering background
  • At least 2 years relevant operations, maintenance or reliability experience working in an oil and gas or petroleum industry
  • Working knowledge of maintenance or reliability processes
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, able to interpret asset data in multitude of ways to develop solutions or establish business case
  • Able to facilitate problem-solving discussions
  • Experience in data analytics and development of relevant tools is an advantage
