Junior Systems Engineer

Our client is a global manufacturer of Speciality Chemicals and Polymers and due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Junior Systems Engineer to join a team of skilled IT Application Support professionals.


Responsibilities

• Resolving customer issues and requests
• Provide support for a suite of application systems, updating software licenses, installation & testing of business applications both in-house developed & 3rd party purchased software
• Provide support for small sized projects tasks to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and meet the stated business requirements
• Create and maintain support documentation & standard operating procedures to ensure that they are up to date and conform to requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience of Windows Operating Systems (10 and above) and Windows Server 2016 and above
• Experience in the installation, testing and support of bespoke developed & 3rd party purchased software applications
• Ability to organise and prioritise requests/incidents.
• Work to and maintain IT processes & standards, including IT change management
• An awareness and understanding of software licensing agreement maintenance
• Have experience of IT service management tools.
