EMM UK is now supporting a 3-year Frame Agreement that covers primarily Maintenance and Modification at Equinor's offshore platforms Heidrun, Njord A and B, Asgard A and B, Troll A, B and C, Heimdal, and Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea Norwegian sector, as well as the onshore facility at Tjeldbergodden (Norway) and is looking for engineering and design discipline Project personnel to join us.

We are looking for a Lead Construction Engineer to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.

What will you be doing?

• To carry out professional engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and completion activities in a competent and efficient manner whilst ensuring that the technical and safety integrity of engineering being performed is maintained at all times.
• Ensure project deliverables are generated using Aker Solutions systems and tools.
• Review, check the work of others and be responsible for their performance within their discipline / function.
• Compilation of weekly reports on progress via project tools where applicable.
• Manage the Aker Solutions Onshore Construction team, to execute the workscopes assigned, safely, on time, in budget and ensure the technical integrity of the installation.
• Accountable for the effective administration and implementation of Management of Change.
• Preparation of cost and time/man-hour estimates via Aker Solutions Systems where applicable.
• Planning, co-ordination and execution of the groups work activities.

We think you should have:

• HNC/HND level or University civil engineering degree or relevant education with 5 to 7 years experience in front end studies, FEED and/or EPCI projects from energy sector.
• Experience in participation in HAZOP/HAZID reviews
• Solution oriented with good communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Legislation applicable to construction (DCR, LOLER etc.)
• Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
• The ability to train and mentor discipline engineers
• A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements
• The competency to be accurate, flexible and organized
• Willing to work in a hybrid st
