Main Structure Analysis Engineer

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Main Structure Analysis Engineer who can help us succeed. 


What will you be doing? 

• Global analysis of Main Structures Topsides in accordance with NORSOK Standards. 
• Be a team member of the structural discipline. 
• Perform structural analyses and design development of Topside Main steel 
• Perform structural analyses by use of Sesam GeniE and hand calculations (MatCad). 
• Write structural design reports. 
• Interface towards other disciplines.

We think you should have some of the following:

• Do you have Master, Bachelors, or technical education?
• Experience from structural analysis and design topside Main steel detail engineering (Greenfield). 
• Be able to carry through the design and documentation. 
• Experienced in Sesam GeniE software package. 
• Experience from structural design according to NORSOK, DNVGL rules and Eurocode. 
• The candidate must have minimum 5 years’ experience from NCS offshore projects within steel structures. 
• Multidiscipline understanding. 
• Have a cooperative working attitude. 
• Ability to work independently. 
• Be systematic, accurate and independent. 
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements. 
• Being motivated, seeking advice and share own experiences with others. 
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
