Description:
PIPER PLANNER IV
•Reports to the TA Planning Lead
•Working Knowledge of Piping, Scaffold, Soft Crafts
•Peripheral Knowledge of Instrumentation and Insulation
•Often will serve as double duty Planner and Coordinator
•Provides Input to Unit Planners and Schedulers to ensure Specialty plans align with
overall plans
•Populates Job Plans, Material Costs, Contractor Assignments and Resource
assignments in IPS
•Identify, Field Verify and Order Necessary Materials for Work Scope
•Solicits Advice or Quotes as necessary from Vendors and Contractors
•Estimating Labor Hours and Supporting Equipment for Scope Needs
•Preparing quotes for materials, equipment, and labor; creates requisitions
•Schedules and Manages Job Plan review sessions with Internal and External Resources
•Supports Logistics Lead in Planning for Overall TA Needs
•Works with Directly with Engineering or Design Teams as necessary to produce required
plans and packages
•Educates Contractors, Coordinators, and Area leads on all Job Plans prior to handover
from Planning to Execution
•Coordination of Offsite Fabrication and Vendors
•Understanding of Trade Specific Tools, Software, and Codes
•Proficient in SAP
•Proficient in Bluebeam
•Proficient in IPS
•SME in the trade they are planning for
•Minimum 10 Years Trades Experience + An Additional 10 Years Experience in Planning (Or similar mix thereof)
