Role: Manufacturing Technician.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Salary: £32k to £40k p.a.
Location: Dyce, Aberdeen

This is a permanent / staff role. 
Description:
  • Manufacture and assembly of all products
  • Perform quality control activities
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing
  • Comply with the requirements of Stock Control Process
  • Ensure all products are preserved after completion of inspection activities
  • Responsible for performing regular checks on equipment
  • Ensure good housekeeping within own work area
  • Forklift operations as and when required
  • Further develop and improve the company’s Manufacturing processes
  • Understand and adhere to the Integrated Management System at all times
Required:

  • Vocational qualification in an engineering discipline (ONC, HNC or HND, time served apprenticeship)
  • Good Mechanical Technician skills
  • Familiarity with electrical/sensor test equipment and operations
  • Practical, enthusiastic, and self-driven to progress and get tasks done
  • Ability to prevent and solve problems without prompting
  • Shares own knowledge; respected by and can influence peers
  • Ability to follow procedures and participate in continuous improvement and able to assist with creation of such procedures
  • Capable of reading and interpreting manufacturing engineering specifications
  • Quality of workmanship is continuously of a very high standard
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Ability to work under a minimum of supervision.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office products to include Word and Excel and MRP or related systems.
