Some of what you will be doing
- Mechanical engineering for our next generation modular simulator platform.
- Design of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD / CAE / FEM
- Modelling of anatomical parts
- Deliver robust and tested mechanical solutions
- Integrity of mechanical structures and parts
- Focus on modular design
- Producibility of parts and assemblies (in cooperation with manufacturing engineers)
- Focus on Design for Assembly and Design for Automation
- Hands-on work in prototype workshop and maker space, building concepts, mock-ups and prototypes
- Testing of concepts and prototypes
- Design and documentation of parts and assemblies

Who we envision would fit the role
- Bachelor or Master's degree within Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years experience with mechanical engineering. Preferably within plastics.
- Experienced 3D CAD user.
- Experienced with surface modelling
- Experience with product lifecycle management
- Self going and actively seeking requirements and solutions.
- Familiar with EU Directives, Regulations and Standards with regards to machinery and mechanical design and construction.
