Mechanical Work Preparation
Contract period: 01.08.2024 - 01.08.2025
Location: Stavanger

Main Tasks: 

- Create and issue work packs for fabrication and installation
- Be familiar with the project plan for own area of responsibility.
- Deliver according to plan
- Ensure all material required for job is connected and reserved
- Ensure all the task included in the job with sufficient hours to perform
- Ensure all necessary drawings connected and make sure that latest drawings are connected 
- Be proactive to request missing information when required
- Identify and report to Line Manager wrong/missing information in drawings
- Make sure that the correct approval steps are included in the job pack 
- Inform Line Manager as soon as possible of any concerns or delays
- Contribute to develop a high technical skill within the area of work
- Send work pack to Hall planner when material is available
- Perform IDC checking on respective discipline Work

- Professional mechanical engineer BSc with minimum 3 year experience. Personal skills and experience may compensate for some lack of formal education
- Experience with O&G projects on the Norwegian continental shelf
- Good commercial mindset and solution oriented
- Contribute to the work prep team as a good team player
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
- High focus within Quality and HSE
- English - Required, Norwegian (or Scandinavian) – Preferred
