We are recruiting an I&C Engineer for Woodside with experience on Offshore Brownfield projects on a 2-3 year contract, this role will report into the Offshore Brownfields Engineering Team Lead.
The successful candidate will manage the workload end to end and then take to the TIC to get sign off. There will be lots of interfacing with other people in the Organization and overseeing contractor. e.g. Asset based staff, turn around teams, Operations readiness group.
The focus of this role will be on Instrumentation workload but will also have some Controls scope. Answering Technical Queries, input into scope of works, Technical Specs / BoD. Ensure work done by contractor is compliant with specs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Engineering Delivery:
• Input to annual budgets and business/functional plans
• Perform work in compliance with discipline’s management system: Engineering Standards, Processes, Guidelines, Procedures and Tools
• Perform scope of services to agreed timelines
• Perform Company Representative for relevant discipline
• Input to priorities where resourcing conflict exists
• Technical competence according to position as Senior I&C Engineer
• Effective decision making in the presence of uncertainty and risk and considering and balancing business dimensions e.g. technical, cost, schedule.
• Effective written, presentation and verbal communication to all internal and external levels
• Ability to deliver demonstrably ALARP outcomes
• Demonstrable people and stakeholder management skills
People Management
• Recommend own development/career planning
• Perform own competence self-assessment
• Recommend own performance agreement
• Perform mentoring of junior engineers where assigned
• Perform supervision of Graduates, Interns and junior engineers for the discipline where assigned

Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified Engineer
- Circa 8+ years’ experience
- Demonstrated experience in O&G sector is needed.
- Solid knowledge of ALARP
- Honeywell systems preferred
- Contractor or Client side experience, with experience of risk management and relate back to risk matrix.
