Offshore Wind project development manager - south korea
Role description:
• Perform high level offshore wind site screening and feasibility assessments
• Prepare applications for lidar and/or met-mast occupancy permits, electricity business license and construction permits to appropriate authorities
• Engage with appropriate authorities on permitting and other offshore wind regulatory processes in Korea
• Identify brown field opportunities
• Manage expectations from local community, fishermen’s associations and other project stakeholders
• Develop and manage project and supply chain relations in Korea
• Coordinate workflow and dialog with Deep Wind Offshore engineering team at HQ
• Manage local development partner(s) for assignment projects
• Other assignments as needed
Desired qualifications:
• Relevant degree, experiences or qualification in offshore, renewable energies or infrastructure development. Minimum 5 years experience
• Some understanding of conducting technical analysis in the offshore wind sector
• Experience from contract negotiations is preferable
• Active team worker
• Can travel in Korea whenever necessary
• Good competence in finance
• Languages: Excellent Korean and English communication skills both written and oral.
