NES Fircroft is partnered with a world leader in mining who is seeking an experienced OCE/Supervisor for a permanent full-time opportunity based on site in the Bown Basin.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you are a strong and ethical leader with the capacity to develop others. Your strong knowledge and background in mining operations, strata, ground control, mine and geotechnical planning will be key to the success of the production team.

About the Role
  • Statutory inspections of the Open Cut operations and completion of OCE reports
  • Providing leadership and direction to a team of supervisors, step-ups and operators
  • Fostering an inclusive and positive culture
  • Maintain a high level of safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment and application of the company values
  • Assist in developing, reviewing and auditing risk assessments, JSAs, SOPs and procedures.

About You
  • Open Cut Examiners qualification
  • Previous experience as an OCE and Supervisor
  • GRM1 and GRM2 certifications
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Frontline Management desirable
