We have a unique opportunity based in New Plymouth for an Operations Technician to work within a small and dedicated team in a permanent position.
The successful applicant will have a formal or informal light engineering background with an electromechanical aptitude. This position would ideally suit someone who is looking for lighter trades duties but has strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities of the position include:
To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication, customer service and computer skills, enjoy an autonomous work style and have brilliant organisational ability. You will also have a proactive and innovative approach to work and demonstrate a willingness to acquire new skills.

- Having knowledge and confidence around machinery and assembly of repeat and manufacture to order customer requirements
- Gaining on the job knowledge of Jean Mueller and third-party products
- Assisting other team members when required to ensure the company continues to provide the best in customer service
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with key customers
- Support and participate in customer quotations after a training period within the business
