Phase 2c Onshore Lead Systems / Process Engineer Department
The Ichthys Phase 2c (onshore) and CCS project represents a significant development on the Ichthys Onshore LNG Asset allowing production plateau extension and ultimate recovery increase through development of the Plover reservoir. This will increase the CO2 content in the feed-gas stream to a point the existing AGRU will require upgrading to process sufficient gas to keep the processing units at planning rates. At the same time the project will install CO2 compression and dehydration facilities to enable CCS sequestration.
The majority of new infrastructure and plant is intended to be supplied as modules for delivery and hook-up/commissioning at site. The scope will include:
The Phase 2c and CCS onshore Project is expected to enter FEED in 3Q 2023 with target DTE in 2Q 2025.
The Onshore Lead Systems / Process Engineer will be responsible for all process design:
• 2c modifications to each LNG train to manage additional CO2 in the feed-gas stream, and maintain the facilities at plateau production rates
• 2c Brownfield modifications to enable the above
• Installation of a CO2 compression and dehydration system that will meter and deliver compressed C02 to an off-site carbon storage disposal system (operator of receiving system/facility tbd)
The position of Phase 2c Lead Systems / Process Engineer will provide crucial discipline engineering guidance and oversight to produce quality process discipline deliverables for FEED to support the development of an execution stage contract and DTE Decision Support Package, and in EXECUTE ensure provision of all detailed process discipline design information and procurement data packages (eg for production chemicals, catalysts, etc) for all Phase 2c (onshore) and CCS modifications.
The position holder will oversee contract and vendor design teams and be responsible for all outputs from process engineering matters for the project.
Deliverable’s timing shall be managed to meet requirements for:
• ITT issue and clarifications during FEED
• To provide timely inputs for subsequent detailed design by delivery oriented disciplines (eg Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Isntr & Controls, etc…) to meet respectively Procurementincluding LLIs, Module Fabrication, and Construction during EXECUTE
• To provide timely inputs for detailed design by delivery oriented disciplines to meet Engineering and Procurement as required to support Shutdown work scopes
The Phase 2c Onshore Lead Systems / Process Engineer shall report to the Phase 2c Onshore Engineering Manager.
