EMM UK is now supporting a 3-year Frame Agreement that covers primarily Maintenance and Modification at Equinor's offshore platforms Heidrun, Njord A and B, Asgard A and B, Troll A, B and C, Heimdal, and Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea Norwegian sector, as well as the onshore facility at Tjeldbergodden (Norway) and is looking for engineering and design discipline Project personnel to join us.We are looking for a Principal Piping Designer to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.

What will you be doing?

• To assist the Lead Engineers along with the Principal and Senior designers in meeting project requirements and performing all technical duties in a highly competent and efficient manner.
• Ensure project deliverables are generated using Aker Solutions systems and tools.
• Be involved in a wide variety of scopes ranging from smaller Front-End Studies to Minor/Major Modification and Maintenance Projects and other Specialist Services.
• Review, check the work of others and be responsible for their performance within their discipline / function.
• Liaise with client project and facilities engineering in the execution of the modifications project scopes of work delivering work on Schedule and within Budget and in accordance with company procedures.
• Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, fabrication, and commissioning issues.
• To ensure recognition of changes to scope of work and provision of support in preparation of Change Requests as appropriate.
• The preparation of documents, deliverables and calculations including input to workpacks for construction and commissioning.

We think you should have:

• Preferably experience with Equinor Frame Agreements, projects, systems, and tools.
• HNC preferred and 5 to 10 years qualification experience in pipe design within the offshore oil & gas/renewable energy sector and onshore oil & gas / carbon capture sector.
• Experience in participation in HAZOP/HAZID reviews.
• Track record in Piping Designer role(s) from a minimum of one FEED, E&P or EPC project.
• Must be able to input and control pipe information in 3D model, (E3D, PDMS or Navisworks).
• Capable of making and checking of 2D drawings in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to manage and plan own work scope.
