Piping engineer - Discipline Task Responsible (DTR)

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Piping Engineer - Discipline Task Responsible (DTR) who can help us succeed. 


What will you be doing? 

• Manage and coordinate all the piping discipline’s tasks internally in a part-project Design and 3D modelling of piping system, Area layout and 3D modelling of equipment 
• Estimation of piping activities Participate in offshore surveys as required by the various projects 
• Communication with client Ensure that interfaces towards other disciplines and internal are handled in an efficient way

We think you should have some of the following:

• Do you have Master, Bachelors, or technical education?
• Design of piping systems in 3D model (PDMS/E3D) based on P&ID ( Process and instrument diagrams) according to Norsok standards. 
• Experience from Oil & Gas industry from north sea projects. 
• Knowledge about critical hydrocarbon system oil/gas. 
• The role holder needs to have an understanding of piping stress calculations, piping support design, manual valves and job cards input. 
• The role requires collaboration with other disciplines such as process, Structure, mechanical, instrument, safety and material disciplines. 
• Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
