To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for a Piping Stress Specialist who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Piping Stress Specialist together with other colleagues in the Rosebank project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
  • Be the Pipe Stress Specialist though the study to execution phases of the project
  • Follow up pipe stress analysis in the Rosebank project
  • Ensure that communications with the client, DNV and other disciplines are handled in an efficient way
We think you should have some of the following:
  • BSc/MSc in the field or relevant technical education
  • Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea
  • Knowledge of governing ASME, NORSOK regulations and standards
  • Experience with Pipe Stress analysis and quality in the project
  • Pipe Stress philosophy
  • Ability to perform site-surveys, pipe-routing through existing areas and locating tie-in positions to achieve a clash-free design is mandatory
  • Ability to communicate with engineering and DNV to get approval on piping documentations
  • Good knowledge of Caesar II analysis tool
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: December 2024 with option for extension
