Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
Aker Solutions is looking for a Planner - Commissioning & Hook-Up who have experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Verdal and will be led from there.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Establish and develop project execution schedules for the Commissioning & Hook-up phases of projects, incorporating resource management, method & planning management philosophy, and strategy.
  • Ensure that activities within the designated area adhere to project requirements and company procedures.
  • Manage the schedule and resource allocation for the dedicated discipline throughout all project phases.
  • Drive improvement projects to enhance work efficiency by integrating initiatives and measures into the planning function.
  • Emphasize digitalization and automation of processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning functions within the project.
  • Monitor discipline progress and budget developments based on the approved schedule and budget details.
  • Establish reporting structures to communicate progress and resource requirements to project stakeholders.
  • Manage schedule deviations resulting from changes, delays, resource limitations, or other factors.
  • Perform re-scheduling as necessary to ensure overall schedule integrity.
  • Committed and attentive to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) aspects in projects.
 
Skills and Levels Description:
  • Degree from a higher vocational school, Bachelor's, or master’s degree in energy or renewables. Relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written Norwegian and English.
  • Proficiency in common IT tools, with expertise in Safran Project, Primavera P6, MIPS, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to acquire detailed knowledge of the project scope and effectively handle various disciplines or fields within planning.
  • Skilled at solving complex problems by applying interdisciplinary expertise to develop comprehensive solutions.
  • Strong collaborative skills, outgoing personality, and effective teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive and transparent approach to team interactions and client interactions.
