We are currently looking for an experienced Scheduling and Planning Assistant to join a global solar EPC in their Brisbane office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the scheduling and planning of project schedules to increase overall efficiency. This includes creating detailed plans for production, ensuring that all relevant resources are available when needed, and coordinating with suppliers to support on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Implementing, developing, maintaining, and controlling project, program, and portfolio resource-loaded schedules; using Primavera P6 and MS project
- Defining and developing work breakdown structure (WBS) and work packages, inputting project activities, determining activity durations, and logic relationships
- Organizing regular meetings with project teams to analyse their progress.
- Identifying and analysing critical path activities, their constraints and schedule variances that will put key milestone dates at risk and monitoring efforts to update schedules and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate records of all scheduling activities.
- Identify potential areas of improvement in the scheduling process.
- Prepare reports on scheduling activities as required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to create effective schedules and manage resources.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Intermediate Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project skills
- General administration skills – Data gathering, organising the meetings, etc.
- Engineering degree.
