Role – "Port Engineer"
Location – Saudi Arabia
Contract type – Secondment (Contract)
Vessel Type: Crew Boat
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Rotation & working hours:
3 months on/off (need a reliever)
However, they can accept no rotation, where working hours in the office are from 8 am - 5 pm with Friday & Saturday off (but on standby always).
in this case: 11 months working, with 1 month paid leave per year.
Job Description:
Port Engineer must be a qualified Chief Engineer, STCW III/2 Licensed for his position with experience at least 4 years as a Chief Engineer on the type of vessel they are assigned to / (in our case crew boat), and capable of operating and maintaining diesel engines of at least the horsepower rating for their company vessels contractor to Saudi Aramco and shall at all times be able to take over as temporary Chief engineer on their assigned vessels, therefore will undergo evaluation by Saudi Aramco as Chief Engineer.

Qualifications:-
- Previous Saudi Aramco Approvals.
- Certificate of Competency with Proof of Verification.
- Certificate of Competency Endorsement.
- Engine Resource Management Cert.
- Passport (Must be Valid at least 06 months).
- valid Seaman Book with Rank Sea time Entries any flag (Must be Valid at least 06 months).
- Marlins Test (Minimum 80% Marks and Each Section Not Less Than 70%) with Online Verification Proof, or IK marlins test. if the candidate already Aramco approved, his marline test in Aramco Facilities needed.
- Medical Fitness (Must be Valid at least 3 months).
- H2S Familiarization Course.
- BOSIET (Preferred, NOT Mandatory).
- Valid STCW Certificates.
- Certificate of 3 doses vaccine (Covid-19).
