Port Safety Officer

Role – "Port Safety Officer"

Location – Saudi Arabia

Contract type – Secondment (Contract)

Vessel Type: Crew Boat

Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Rotation & working hours:
3 months on/off (need a reliever)
However, they can accept no rotation, where working hours in the office are from 8 am - 5 pm with Friday & Saturday off (but on standby always).
in this case: 11 months working, with 1 month paid leave per year.

Qualifications:-

• Previous Saudi Aramco approval.
• The Port Safety Officer needs to have offshore experience.
• Must be a master/Chief Officer or Chief engineer (minimum of STCW II/2 OR III/2).
• Must hold valid HSE (NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety OR Equivalent (IOSH, British Safety Council, OSHA).
• Must have experience in offshore vessel operations and hold international Marine Qualification.
• Certificate of Competency with Proof of Verification.
• Certificate of Competency Endorsement.
• a valid (at least 6 months) seaman book & Passport (any flag)
• valid STCW certifications.
• Shall have Marlins Test (Minimum 80% Marks and Each Section Not Less Than 70%) with Online Verification Proof, or IK marlins test.
• Certificate of 3 doses vaccine (Covid-19).
• Medical Fitness (Must be valid for at least 3 months).
