OVERVIEW:
Responsible of keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition. Assist maintenance with services and repairs as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Major Responsibilities
• Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Maintain and stock maintenance inventory.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Set up, arrange, and remove tables, chairs, to prepare facilities for events as needed.
• Assist maintenance as needed.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
• Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience
• Must have an ability to troubleshoot a problem to completion and repair.
• Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a field.
Skills
• Organizational skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good communication and math skills
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
