If you're a talented and experienced PPA origination manager, we'd love to hear from you! Our client is looking for an experienced and collaborative PPA Origination Manager to join a thriving team in Madrid. This full-time role comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.
 
In this PPA Origination Manager role, you will be responsible for keeping a pulse on energy markets, originating new valuable PPA opportunities, developing relationships with key off-takers (utilities, corporates), negotiating and executing the power purchase agreements (PPAs) for our pipeline.
 
In your first few weeks in this PPA Origination Manager role, you can expect to:
  • Define the contracting strategy
  • Lead PPA transactions in liaison with the other functions (Growth, Legal, Project Finance, Finance, Asset Management)
  • Understand the key market drivers, and anticipate the upcoming market trends and opportunities (hybridisation, power-to-X)
  • Articulate internal and external benchmarks related to renewable energy supply services and new business models to deliver the best value and support growth
 
To apply for this PPA Origination Manager role, you will need a track record of success in originating and negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs) in one or more European markets, including preferably Spain and/or Italy. You will also require:
  • Detailed knowledge of the European power market, regulations and key players
  • The ability to address concepts including PPA structures, basis risk, power markets, futures, and hedging
