EMM UK is now supporting a 3-year Frame Agreement that covers primarily Maintenance and Modification at Equinor's offshore platforms Heidrun, Njord A and B, Asgard A and B, Troll A, B and C, Heimdal, and Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea Norwegian sector, as well as the onshore facility at Tjeldbergodden (Norway) and is looking for engineering and design discipline Project personnel to join us.We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.

What will you be doing?
  • Assist the Lead or Principal engineer in the planning, co-ordination and execution of the groups work activities and in meeting project requirements while performing all technical duties in a highly competent and efficient manner.
  • Ensure project deliverables are generated via using Aker Solutions systems and tools.
  • Be involved in a wide variety of scopes ranging from smaller Front End Studies to Minor/Major Modification and Maintenance Projects and other Specialist Services
  • Assist the Lead Engineer in the compilation of weekly reports on progress via project tools where applicable.
  • Deputize for the Principal/Lead engineer — provision of holiday, sickness cover when required
  • Be a part of a highly qualified Process Engineering team
  • Perform and evaluate process simulations
  • Develop and quality checking of process system design for main and utility process systems
  • Active participate in HAZOP, design reviews and other relevant safety reviews
We think you should have:
  • Preferably experience with Equinor systems and tools
  • HNC/HND level or University process engineering degree or relevant education with 5 to 7 years experience in front end studies, FEED and/or EPCI projects from energy sector.
  • Good working knowledge of process simulation software, e.g. UniSim and HYSYS
  • Broad competency within process system design
  • Experience in participation in HAZOP/HAZID reviews
  • Solution oriented with good communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards preferred but not essential.
  • Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
  • The ability to train and mentor process discipline engineers
  • A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both indepen
