The Processing Engineering Manager will be a highly experienced mining industry executive capable of taking a copper-gold project through design review, feasibility study, commissioning phases, and the operational phase. The role covers the feasibility study, commissioning and operation of the processing plant, laboratory, water supply, and concentrate handling areas and all associated infrastructure.The role requires previous experience in metallurgical work, metallurgical process selection, development of engineering for the processing plant, equipment selection, commissioning, ramp-up, and operation of mineral processing plants, preferably base metals and gold. The role requires a history of achievement in these mineral processing industries. The incumbent will also need skills in working with multi-cultural work groups and be able to communicate effectively with many diverse cultural teams

1. Manage the project process discipline developed by the feasibility study and consultants, interacting, reviewing, and approving technical documents to ensure focus is maintained on providing a quality processing plant.2. Build a Production plan and budget for commissioning and early operating phases.3. Build a cost budget, including all costs associated with the process plant (power, reagents, maintenance, salaries, and on-costs).4. Operational Readiness for the Process Plant5. Routine reporting plan in place, notify significant variations to management team.6. Champion risk-based management of HSEC for the Process team. Lead initiatives for hazard identification and risk reduction such as HAZOPs, risk assessments, inspections7. Playing a strategic role in transforming the business unit8. Defining and aligning the plant strategy with the strategic business intent9. Handling emergency situations and general management functions

Education:– Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering.Experience:– Minimum 20 years experience in mining process plant, including at least 8 years inmanagement of similar processing plants
