Aker Solutions in Oslo are now looking for Process Engineers to strengthen their team.
Responsibilities and tasks:
You can take on different roles and tasks in the project process team, namely process system engineer, process flare and utility system engineer, process safety engineer and/or package responsible engineer. The main scope of work includes but is not limited to the following;

Aker Solutions in Oslo are now looking for Process Engineers to strengthen their team.
Responsibilities and tasks:
You can take on different roles and tasks in the project process team, namely process system engineer, process flare and utility system engineer, process safety engineer and/or package responsible engineer. The main scope of work includes but is not limited to the following;
- Preparation and updating of P&IDs and PFDs
- Follow-up of vendor documents for relevant packages
- Closing out of HAZOP actions from FEED HAZOP
- Provision of input to FEED reports (system descriptions)
- Preparation of process datasheets
- Dynamic process simulation studies
- Pressure drop calculations and line lists
- Identify and develop relief cases for all systems and provide support for relief calculations
- Coordination and interfacing with other disciplines within engineering team
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in process or chemical engineering, or relevant field
- At least 5 years’ work experience as a process engineer within relevant industries like oil & gas/energy etc.
- Strong experience of systems process design
- Good knowledge and experience of HYSYS/Unisim
- Independent and pro-active, structured and systematic
- Fluency in written and spoken English
