Some of what you will be doing
- Firmware, electronics or mechanical, both early phase prototypes using Arduinos and Raspberry Pis and final deliverances within robotics and cybernetics.
- Create technical specifications for our systems and components, such as sensors, actuators, valves, flow meter and motors.
- Take responsibility for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), making sure that our manikin is easy to produce for both humans and robots.
- Design our pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Making sure that your work is complying with regulatory standards.
- Testing and verification of your work
- Coordinate with our Hardware Technology Platform and strive for modular thinking and modular design and embedded development.

Who we envision would fit the role
In this role it is expected that you are a forward leaning and curious person that sees opportunities in difficult problems. It’s preferable that you have a general understanding of all the three main domains in our product development (firmware, electronics and mechanical) being able to deliver results in one or more of them.

Being creative and able to do quick iteration exploration and conceptualization is also something that we would value in this role.

You must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field of study
- Experience with the following is an advantage:
- Firmware development
- Electronic design
- Mechanical design
- Knowledge of CAD Design
- 3D printing
- Physical product development
- Control systems
- Modularization
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
