Project Developer - Solar PV

As a dedicated Project Developer, you will be responsible for running feasibility studies, planning activities and dealing with authorities to get all necessary permission to build and operate solar plants. You will also communicate and take care with engineers for the technical design of each plant. Please note that this position requires you to travel domestically and internationally when required and to work flexibly with hours.

In your first few weeks in this Project Developer role, you can expect to:

• Manage relationships with local authorities, utilities and regulators
• Interact with legal, tax, technical and insurance advisors
• Control projects until ready-to-build status
• Participate in the auction and sale process

To apply for this project development job, you will need 2-4 years of experience in the energy sector or project-related environment. You will also require the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in environmental, economics, technical, law or a relatable area
• Familiarity with the authorization process for zoning, environmental/building codes and land/grid connection conditions
• Ability to assess energy projects from an economical and legal perspective
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems
• Ability to work independently and proactively approach stakeholders
• An active driving licence
