Project Documentary Controller
The client, a Pipeline specialist, is looking for a Doc Controller to work from their Paris office. The contract length will be for 6 months (renewable) and they need the individual to start asap. In return, the individual will receive an attractive day rate.
Duration: 6 months renewable
Location: 20 km West of the Paris region
Start Date: ASAP
(Functional reporting to the project manager)
Purpose of the mission
The Documentary Controller has the task of creating project documents, updating the different versions, distributing them and ensuring the availability of a final and validated version. He/She is the guarantor of compliance with the quality requirements of the Company and its customers and suppliers in terms of document management.
The Document Controller manages and supervises the flow of documentation as part of one or more projects:

Purpose of the mission
The Documentary Controller has the task of creating project documents, updating the different versions, distributing them and ensuring the availability of a final and validated version. He/She is the guarantor of compliance with the quality requirements of the Company and its customers and suppliers in terms of document management.
The Document Controller manages and supervises the flow of documentation as part of one or more projects:
- Drafting of the project document management document;
- Creation of the document list (MDR) and the review matrix;
- Creation of identity cards for documents in the database;
- Creation, update and monitoring of the life cycle of internal and external documents under the company's document management software;
- Control of compliance with the documentary processes defined for each project, internally and by the Client;
- Control of the conformity of documents to each template defined by the project team;
- Processing of daily documentary requests;
- Assistance to project and support teams;
- Reporting, statistics to the project manager;
- Participation in internal project meetings;
- Contact with customer/supplier counterpart.
Technical skills
- Bac +2/3 in document management, information sciences, database management
- 5 years of experience managing and using document management software
- Knowledge of quality requirements in document management
- Fluent English
- Experiences in the oil sector
- EPC experience (essential)
- ACONEX software experience (preferred)
