We are looking for a Project Engineer - Task Lead to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure that the Work/Project is performed focused on HSSE and quality aspects and within the budgets & forecasts whilst achieving the goals and objectives defined in Project Charter, Project Execution Strategy and Task Execution Strategy covering (when applicable): Administration, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Completion
- Ensure focus on functional design solutions with respect to overall system functionality and operability, HSSE aspects and constructability & cost reduction
- Ensure that milestone reviews are performed for critical milestones with focus on Execution Key Deliverables and Management Key Deliverables
- Establish and maintain an effective Task organization with clear responsibilities, authorities and command/reporting lines, compatible with overall project organization responsibilities, policies and project objectives, proper and adequate personnel at all times, and secure good Interdisciplinary co-ordination
- Ensure clear interfaces towards suppliers and subcontractors with respect to Task scope of work.
- Establish and present Task Execution Strategy for approval for Portfolio Manager
- Ensure that all changes in scope of work/plan/budget are approved by Portfolio Manager and implemented.
- Ensure that the Task scope of work is clear and understood by the Task organization.
- You have a Bachelor or master’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in front end studies, FEED and/or EPCI projects from energy sector
- A commercial behavior and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
- The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements
- The competency to be accurate, flexible, and organized
- Leader skills and experience
