In August 2022, Aker Solutions entered into an agreement with SLB and Subsea 7 to form a new Joint Venture for subsea. Our Joint Venture came into effect on the 2nd of October 2023 and has been named OneSubsea.

We provide an extensive field-proven subsea production and processing technology portfolio, world-class manufacturing scale and capacity, and unique pore-to-process integration capabilities.   
OneSubsea is now looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Ågotnes.
As project employee you will be employed by NES Advantage Solutions AS, working for OneSubsea.

What will you be doing?
  • Manage your workload and complete assigned tasks within projects or assignments, adhering to defined engineering procedures and practices under supervision.
  • Identify implications from changes in line with related engineering processes.
  • Create and maintain Materials and BoM’s in SAP, ensuring relevant input is obtained and implemented in MM with regards to NDT, coating, material grade, and documentation requirements.
  • Provide technical input to the Project Lead, workshop, offshore, and procurement departments as needed.
  • Support sub-contractors and suppliers with technical assistance.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proactively gain and share knowledge and experience within the team, department, offshore, and workshop.
  • Ensure relevant lessons learned are captured, understood, and recorded as required.
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Minimum BSc in a relevant engineering discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with engineering and project execution work processes, with a general understanding of the business area.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP system (Templates, doc WF, Material Master, BOMs, NCRs, ECs).
  • Experience in relevant Subsea projects and familiarity with industry standards.
  • Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize activities, manage workload with minimal supervision, and maintain a focus on On Time Delivery and Quality under pressure.
