We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Project Engineer to join a dynamic team in Papua New Guinea. The role is a FIFO position from Australia offers an even time roster, working on a remote mine site. We’re seeking individuals with a strong background in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering who are eager to manage complex projects in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Position Overview
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and working in both field and office settings. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-impact mining projects in one of the most remote yet unique locations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing all aspects of engineering projects, from planning to execution.
- Conducting site inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring project goals are met.
- Overseeing project documentation, stakeholder management, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 2 years in remote or mine site environments.
- Experience with project management tools and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
