We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for an immediate start to be working on upcoming project work in Taranaki within the O&G industry.
 
This is a hands on HSE role on site and you will be responsible for:
  • Interpret, support and advise line managers and project stakeholders on relevant occupational health and safety legislation and Company policies and procedures where appropriate.
  • Use a collaborative approach with other project staff, managers, contractors and external providers to ensure the development and delivery of best practice health and safety solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expert advice and support to site management and supervision to ensure effective risk management practices and procedures are put in place and maintained.
  • Client liaison for all HSE related matters.
  • Implement and maintain site emergency response requirements and processes and monitor its effectiveness regularly.
  • Complete incident investigations in a timely and efficient manner including assistance with the implementation of effective corrective actions.
  • Lead by example by ensuring that personal HSE performance is always of the highest standard.
 
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in health and safety within the resource, construction or energy sectors (preferably the Oil & Gas sector).  You will have a sound knowledge and experience in implementing systems and risk management programs within industry.
