Job Title: Project Manager - Gold Coast Bulk Earthworks, Roads, Subdivisions, and Council Projects

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee our Gold Coast projects, specifically focusing on bulk earthworks, roads, subdivisions, and council projects. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of the projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget, timeline, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with regional councils to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and permits.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, while effectively managing resources.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability and identify potential challenges.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, contracts, and other documentation to clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee all construction activities, including bulk earthworks, roadworks, subdivisions, and related infrastructure development.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships and communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare accurate and timely project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and risk assessments.
  • Adhoc FIFO to regional locations where required (1 or 2x a month)
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in bulk earthworks, roads, subdivisions, and council projects.
  • Strong knowledge of regional council requirements, regulations, and processes.
  • Excellent understanding of bulk earthworks, road construction, and subdivision development methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
